|This OHV area
contains approximately 47 miles of marked trails within 10,000 acrea and a
designated Open Area. Trails Require intermediate to advanced riding skills.
Rower flats is part of the Angeles National Forest. To ride here you need to
purchase an Adventure
Pass to ride in this area.
VEHICLES PERMITTED: 4X4's, Motorcycles, Dune buggies, and ATV's.
DIRECTIONS: Take the I-5 from Los Angeles to the 14 freeway, North towards Palmdale. Take the Sand Canyon off ramp from the 14 fwy and head towards Sierra Hwy ((North), be sure to pick up your adventure pass at the gas station next to IN&OUT Burger or hte ranger will give you a ticket. Adventure pass is required to ride here.). At the intersection of Sand Canyon and Sierra Hwy, turn right and 4.5 miles later you'll see the forest sign Rowher Flats OHV Area seen in attached image below. The entrance is on the left side of the highway. At 3 miles in, there is a parking/unloading area. You have arrived.
