GORMAN /HUNGRY VALLEY Ranges from 2,600 ft. to over 8,000 ft. on adjoining Los Padres National Forest. 137 miles of OHV Trails and roads in Hungry Valley's 19,000 acres and over 150 miles of National Forest OHV routes pass through high desert, rolling hills, arroyos, scrubland and steep pine-forested mountains. 4-Wheel Drive Obstacle Course open to the public. Motocross Track (Quail Canyon) by permit only to promoters and organized clubs but there is a Jr.Motocross Track for Motorcycle and ATV's with engines 80cc or lower. This track can be used by anyone that meets the under 80cc requirement. 10 developed camp areas, 150 campsites with shade ramadas, fire rings, picnic tables and primitive toilets. No water. Open daily, 24 hours. Fees: Day use $4, Camping $6. No reservations.

4X4's, Motorcycles, Dune buggies, and ATV's.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: All levels - beginner to expert. The sand washes and hills provide for the most challenging riding areas. Beginners should try out the trails in the Native Grasslands Management Area.

DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 5 Exit Gorman Left go right on Peace Valley rd. In about one mile on the left you will see the Hungry Valley sign.
