High elevations make for challenging trail riding.

TERRAIN: Rocks and hard dirt. Elevation 5,800 feet.

VEHICLES PERMITTED: Motorcycles, 4x4's, and snowmobiles.

CAMPING: 38 units including 15 suitable for RV's up to 30'; restrooms; piped spring water; no trash collection.  Open all year. $5 per night fee.

DIRECTIONS: 60 miles northeast of Kernville via Mtn. 99 and Sherman Pass Rd. (22S05), or 26 miles west of Hwy. 395 via Nine Mile Canyon Rd. (J41). Paved roads;
